1. Short version

Image Downloader Pro does not track which websites you browse, does not build advertising profiles, and does not sell personal data. By default, extension data stays in browser storage on your device.

2. Data stored by the extension

The extension uses browser storage to remember your settings and make features work. Depending on how you use the extension, this can include:

• extension settings such as theme, dashboard style, side panel mode, download preferences, filters, and file renaming settings;
• favorites, folders, tags, saved filters, and saved scan summaries;
• local counters such as downloads today, total downloads, copied links or filenames, and similar usage counters used for limits and UI status;
• Premium state, license key, and last license validation time if you enable Premium.

This information is stored locally in your browser profile through extension storage. Clearing browser extension data, uninstalling the extension, or using the extension data tools can remove it.

3. Browser permissions

Image Downloader Pro requests permissions needed to scan pages, show the popup or side panel, and download selected files:

• activeTab, tabs, scripting, and host permissions: used to inspect pages you choose to scan and find image candidates, including images loaded after page interaction;
• downloads: used to save selected images and control filenames when possible;
• storage: used for settings, favorites, saved scans, local counters, and Premium status;
• sidePanel: used to show the extension interface in a browser side panel when enabled.

Scanning results are used inside the extension interface so you can preview, filter, copy, export, or download images. We do not receive a list of pages you scan or images you download unless you intentionally include that information in a support request.

4. Premium and license checks

If you enable Premium, your license key is stored locally and sent to our license validation endpoint only to confirm license status. The extension stores the result, Premium status, and last check time locally so it does not need to validate on every action.

License checks are limited to license-related data and are not used to collect your browsing history, page content, or downloaded images. Payments and subscription management may be handled by Lemon Squeezy or another payment provider under their own policies.

5. Contact forms and support

If you contact us through the website or the extension support form, we process only the information you choose to provide, such as your email address, selected topic, and message content.

The extension support form can optionally include debug information to help diagnose problems. This can include extension version, browser user agent, language, timezone, timestamp, Premium status, selected settings, and counts such as favorites or saved scans. It does not include your browsing history.

Messages are delivered to our support inbox through Web3Forms, our form provider. Please share only information needed to resolve your request.

6. Retention and control

Local extension data stays in your browser until you delete it, reset extension data, clear browser data, or uninstall the extension. Support messages are kept only as long as needed to respond, resolve issues, improve support quality, and maintain reasonable records.

You can contact us to request deletion of support messages associated with your email address.

7. Third-party services

Image Downloader Pro may interact with the following services depending on how you use it:

• Web3Forms: delivers website and extension support messages to our inbox.
• License validation backend: checks Premium license keys.
• Lemon Squeezy: processes purchases, subscriptions, invoices, and related billing information.
• DataFast: helps us measure visits to the homepage and attribute purchases after Lemon Squeezy redirects back to our site. It is not used to collect extension scan results, downloaded images, or browsing history.
• Browser stores: Chrome Web Store, Microsoft Edge Add-ons, and Firefox Add-ons may process installation, update, and review data under their own policies.
• Website hosting: standard technical logs may be created by hosting infrastructure when you visit the website.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the extension, website, or providers change. The latest version will be posted on this page with an updated date.
